Dominique Easley is one of the New England Patriot’s defensive linemen. He was a first-round draft choice of the Super Bowl Champions, just out of the University of Florida. His sister, Destinee, was 12-years-old when she was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. This caused her to have to leave school and, at some times, use a wheelchair. Easley is doing all he can to raise awareness of this disease. In fact, he is donating all proceeds from a football camp to raise awareness of fibromyalgia.

Is There Any Relief from Fibromyalgia?
Upper cervical chiropractic care has seen success in helping patients that suffer from fibromyalgia. We focus our attention on making sure the nervous system is functioning at its best. We do this by looking for any misalignments in the upper vertebrae of the neck. A misalignment of the C1 or C2 vertebrae, located at the base of the skull, can put pressure on the brainstem. This hinders communication to and from the body and the brain. The result can be headaches, pain, tiredness, and other symptoms of chronic fatigue.
Once we find the misalignment and correct it, through minor, gentle adjustments, many of our patients report a decrease in symptoms. Some find that their fibromyalgia goes away altogether. If a person suffers from fibromyalgia, it’s worth the time to look into upper cervical chiropractic care. It may mean the difference between chronic pain and enjoying life pain-free!
